The head honchos over at ABC interview multiple people for The Bachelorette while making their final decision, and while they ultimately landed on Jenn Tran for this upcoming season (yayyyyyy!), Daisy Kent was apparently also in talks with the network.

Daisy ultimately removed herself from the show's running and recently revealed she didn't think going on The Bachelorette would be good for her health.
“There’s a few reasons,” the Bachelor runner-up explained on The Viall Files (via People). “So, one, my health is like an aspect of it. And like, I knew as the lead, it’s a lot on you. Not only emotionally but also physically too.”
Aside from thinking it would “be a lot” from a health point of view, Daisy said she was also worried about “hurting other people” on the show.
And while Daisy isn't ready to date again on national television (assuming we can count her out of Bachelor in Paradise?), she is ready to dive back into dating in general. “It’s not that I’m not ready to date, it’s that I wasn’t ready for that specific thing,” she mused. “And I think coming off the show and doing the show I didn’t realize how much of kind of a big thing it is, if that makes sense.”
“I think right now, I just want to live and be happy,” Daisy concluded. “I’m always going to jump at opportunities, but I think just this specific opportunity wasn’t right for me right now.”
