How will this link with the rest of the MCU?
Here's your big warning that we're getting into some major spoiler territory, but basically, Fury is set to appear in The Marvels, which is coming out on November 2023, so there's some possibility that it will get linked there. We still don't know exactly where that movie falls in the MCU, so there is always a possibility that it's actually before the events of Secret Invasion.
But what we do know is the Fury, along with Priscilla/Varra, head back up to S.A.B.E.R. to help negotiate a peace treaty with the Kree. Meanwhile, Sonya and G'iah decide to team up together to work together in this brand new war that President Ritson started. G'iah seemingly still has her powers from The Harvest, so that might connect here somehow. But really your guess is as good as ours and we're just going to have to wait and see what K.E.V.I.N. and co. have in mind for the future.
