The spin-off series follows Kitty Covey AKA Lara Jean’s little sister as she jets off to Seoul, South Korea to attend a new school, reconnect with her culture and late mother and reunite with her long-distance boyfriend, Dae.

The series finale had twists and turns, and as we keep our fingers crossed for a second season (please, Netflix!) here's the ending of season one of XO, Kitty explained.

What happens in the XO, Kitty season finale?

After a tumultuous time in Kitty and Dae’s relationship as he had to fake a relationship with Yuri to stay in school, Kitty decides to break up with Dae after realising she has feelings for someone else – Yuri.

She tells her dad about these feelings, who says he accepts her for exactly who she is. Despite this, Kitty is expelled from KISS for staying in the boys' dorms.

As she goes to the airport to fly home, she sees Yuri and gets so close to admitting her feelings for her, except Yuri is there to pick up her girlfriend Juliana – who Yuri’s mum, Jina, had forced out of KISS – so she misses her chance.

Aside from this, we also learn that Alex is Yuri’s brother – not Kitty’s, despite what the hospital records say.

Yuri’s mum Jina fell in love with Professor Lee during their time at KISS and secretly gave birth, but put down Kitty’s mum’s name on the paperwork since they were best friends and roommates at the time.

Back to the flight to America, as Kitty heads home she realises that she is sat by Min Ho and shockingly, he admits that he is in love with Kitty. Not a love triangle, but a love square!

Seriously, Netflix, we need to know what happens next.
