Love Islands Ron Hall and Lana Jenkins have split up

Another Love Island couple have called it quits, and this time, it’s series nine stars Lana Jenkins and Ron Hall. So sad!

The couple, who came second behind Kai Fagan and Sanam Harrinanan, have split up just three months after leaving the villa, a representative for Ron confirmed to Cosmopolitan UK.

Lana lives in Manchester while Ron is based in Essex and they are said to have ended things due to long distance and super busy work schedules, according to the Daily Mail.

A source told MailOnline: “Lana and Ron really put everything into their romance and have tried to make things work for some time now.

“Unfortunately, they have decided to separate, which is a decision they have made amicably and of course, they still remain good friends,” they continued.

“Commuting from Manchester to Essex and back again whenever they wanted to spend time together, as well as managing their work commitments just proved too difficult.”

Just a few weeks ago, the couple jetted off on holiday with them both posting couple-y photos on their Instagram, with one captioned "te amo" meaning I love you.

Their split comes after 2020 winners Paige Turley and Finn Tapp broke up after three years together.

During an appearance on Love Island: Aftersun on 11th June, Paige confirmed to host Maya Jama the couple are no longer together but are on good terms.

"We're still really good friends... I think we drifted apart,” she said. “We did lockdown together and any and every struggle we could have faced, we were faced with. But, we’re still good friends.”

We’re not crying, you are!

Love Island continues nightly at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
