Between flawless headlining Coachella sets and a gorgeous appearance at Stagecoach, this is truly the summer of Lana Del Rey (and the summer of “me espresso,” but we digress). Lana showed up at the 2024 Met Gala wearing a gorgeous Alexander McQueen look complete with structural tree branches and—yes—literal hooves for shoes. Her beauty look? A gorgeous lined lip and loose waves with a fresh "Desert Sand" hue from celebrity colorist and Redken Ambassador, Tracey Cunningham.

As a reminder, Lana’s new era is almost upon it—and she’s going country. Her upcoming 10th studio album Lasso is coming out in September, which she confirmed back in February.

“If you can’t already tell by our award winners and our performers, the music business is going country,” she said at a pre-Grammy event. “We’re going country. It’s happening. That’s why Jack [Antonoff] has followed me to Muscle Shoals, Nashville, Mississippi, over the last four years.”

Anyway, pivoting back to the Met Gala real quick, Lana hasn’t been since 2018’s Heavenly Bodies theme, where she showed up wearing a Gucci dress decorated with a metal heart pierced with daggers, paired with an elaborate headpiece featuring huge blue angel/bird wings. A vibe!
