Jennifer Lopez wears silver Schiaparelli naked dress to 2024 Met Gala

Jennifer Lopez is casually co-chairing the 2024 Met Gala, so obviously she went all the way out with her look. JLo hit the carpet wearing a gorgeous silver naked dress by Schiaparelli, and I think we can all agree it’s her best Met Gala gown of all time (fight me!).

Jen spoke to Vogue ahead of the annual fashion fundraiser and admitted she was still deciding on her gown, saying, “I have a few different sketches. I’m still deciding. I’m also one of those people who chooses at the last minute. Like, I like choices, and then I go, ‘Okay, this is how I feel today,’ and then we try to kinda create some type of amazing look—’cause that is the night for looks!”

JLo’s fellow Met Gala co-chairs include Zendaya, Bad Bunny and Chris Hemsworth – and (in case you didn’t get the memo) this year’s theme is “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion.” The dress code, however, is more specifically “The Garden of Time,” a reference to a 1962 J.G. Ballard short story of the same name that takes place in a garden. So...expect a lot of florals! (I’ll give you a moment to make a “florals for spring? groundbreaking” joke.)

JLo actually confirmed the floral vibes in a “group chat” shared to Vogue’s Instagram, where Anna Wintour tells her co-chairs about the theme—just in case anyone remains confused!
