BBC drama Inside Man just landed on Netflix, and fans already have a *lot* to say about the four-parter. From convincing theories to a pretty confusing plot, we are officially gripped, with many viewers now calling for a season two.
Starring a mega lineup including David Tennant, Stanley Tucci and It's a Sin's Lydia West, the new drama brings a set of unlikely characters together for one tangled web of a story. There's a US prisoner on death row (Tucci), a small-town vicar in a quiet English village (Tennant), and an investigative journalist in search of a story (West). Oh, and there's the threat of murder. As the show's summary reads, "Everyone’s a murderer, you just need a good reason and a bad day."
So, will Inside Man get a season two, and what could we expect from a second series?

Has Inside Man season 2 been confirmed?
Unfortunately, there hasn't been any confirmation on an Inside Man season two just yet. S1 dropped on BBC for the first time on 26th September 2022 and aired across two weeks, while the show dropped on Netflix almost eight months later in May 2023.
Here's hoping the influx of viewers from the show landing on Netflix helps our case for more episodes!

Who might star in Inside Man season 2?
S1 sees David Tennant, Stanley Tucci and Lydia West starring side-by-side, so we'd hope to see the trio returning for a season two. Tennant plays vicar Harry Watling, while Tucci is prisoner Jefferson Grieff, and West stars as journalist Beth Davenport. Plus, there's also Dolly Wells who plays maths tutor Janice Fife.
Season one ends with Mary being hit by a lorry and dying, while we last see Janice in the cellar as the masked police arrive, she looks close to death because of the carbon monoxide poisoning and being hit with the hammer by Harry.
However, Janice does survive and in the post credits scene she is seen visiting Jefferson in prison. Jefferson asks her what he can do for her in the week he has before his execution. She explains she wants him to solve the case of her husband's murder (sorry but when did she have a husband?).
Dillan then raises an interesting point - Janice's husband isn't actually dead. Janice replies saying: "No, but he deserves to be" and asks Jefferson for his help to murder her husband. Jefferson agrees and the scene ends.
What might happen in Inside Man season 2?
Er, Jefferson helping Janice murder her husband, maybe? It feels like the final post-credit scene of season one really sets the story line up. So who knows!
