It's always very exciting to see one of your favorite books get turned into a show and now The Other Black Girl fans are getting their turn to see Zakiya Dalila Harris's hit novel on the small screen. And while Hulu has dropped all the episodes all at once for the ultimate binge, fans absolutely cannot get enough and are hoping for some more. So is there a chance that Nella's story isn't over yet?
Here's everything you need to know about The Other Black Girl season 2.
Is The Other Black Girl coming back for season 2?
While there might only be one book right now, that doesn't mean that this show is completely done. Hulu has not marketed this show as a limited series, so there's a chance that they're open to bringing it back for more. And if the ending was any indication, it seems like there's a lot more story to tell.

What would season 2 be about?
There's no sequel book so it's a bit up in the air what exactly we can expect and there were some significant changes from the book to the show. But there are also a lot of open questions like just what is Nella's plan now that she's somehow infiltrated the Wagner offices by pretending to be on Hazel and Diana's side. This is completely different from the book where Nella not only uses the hair grease but also becomes a lead conditioner.
Since there's definitely more to Nella's plan, fans would want to see if she can follow through or meet the same fate as in the book.

When will we know if it's been renewed?
Most renewals are currently paused due to the SAG-AFTRA and WGA strikes as actors and writers keep fighting for a fair deal. We probably will have to wait until they're over to see if it's coming back, so it's anyone's guess when we'll hear about it. But hopefully, it's soon!
