Yesterday, you may have been quite surprised to come across a picture of Cardi B topless while on your morning scroll. It turned out that the WAP singer had accidentally uploaded the picture to her Instagram Stories for all her 76.9m followers to see. Today, Cardi has explained to followers exactly how the nude accidentally ended up on her story, saying she was actually in bed with Offset at the time.
Accidental uploads aren't uncommon (we've all sent screenshots to the wrong group chat), but it's a whole new thing when you have almost 80million followers. Luckily, Cardi B is a bit of a legend, so after accidentally uploading a topless picture of herself to her Instagram Stories, she handled it exactly the way you'd expect her to, by telling fans "I’m not gonna beat myself up about it. I’m just gonna eat my breakfast and then I’m gonna go to the party."
In an Instagram Live on Wednesday, Cardi decided to explain to fans exactly how it all happened. But after rumours of a reconciliation between Cardi and her husband (from whom she filed for divorce last month) people were far more interested in the fact that she was in bed with Offset when she uploaded the picture.
"I’m leaning in the f***king bed, right? And I’m telling Offset, 'Yo I feel like… I’m taking the f***ing picture' and then I f***ing press and I see that it’s loading and I’m like 'Oh my God! Oh my God, Offset! Oh my God, the picture’s loading!'" she explained during the Instagram Live.
Apparently Offset then checked Instagram for her and said "There is a picture of the f***ing tit!".
"By the time I turned my phone on and deleted that s**t, everybody and their mom saw," she continued. "They were all over the internet."
Cardi B filed for divorce from rapper Offset back in September after three years of marriage, stating their relationship was 'irreplaceably broken' in court documents.
Earlier this week, Cardi and Offset sparked rumours that they might be back together, after they were spotted kissing at her birthday on the Las Vegas strip, and dancing very closely together at the after-party.
Admittedly, the accidental upload wasn't ideal... but she handled it like a champ. And either way it the question remains, are Cardi B and Offset back together?
