As part of her A-Levels, Pip has to take on an EPQ, and takes on the case of a 17-year-old school girl who was killed five years prior. You likely recognise Emma from Wednesday on Netflix, and also the film Family Switch.

Character: Ravi

Zain is a relative newcomer, and the part of Ravi is his most notable role to date. While Ravi's brother admitted to killing Andie, the true murderer is still out there, and he works with Pip to try and uncover the truth.

Asha Banks

Character: Cara

Aka, Pip's best friend, who is sarcastic and witty. You might recognise Asha from Rebel Cheer Squad and The Magic Flute.

Yali Topol Margalith

Character: Lauren

Yali recently appeared in the adaptation of The Tattooist of Auschwitz alongside Jonah Hauer-King. She plays Lauren, who is also one of Pip's good friends.

Raiko Gohara

Character: Zach

Zach is another member of Pip's friendship group, and this is one of Raiko's first notable roles.

Jude Morgan-Collie

Character: Connor

Connor is another one of Pip's close friends, who is the funny one in the friendship group. You might recognise actor Jude from BBC sitcom Here We Go.

India Lillie Davies

Character: Andie

India plays Andie, the schoolgirl who was murdered five years earlier in the case Pip is trying to solve. India has credits in Netflix's Bridgerton and Call the Midwife, though only for single episodes.

Rahul Pattni

Character: Sal

Rahul, who once appeared in an episode of Casualty, plays Sal, who was Pip's boyfriend at the time she was murdered. He admitted to being behind it, before taking his own life, but Pip thinks there might be more to the story than meets the eye.

Anna Maxwell Martin

Character: Leanne

Leanne is Pip's mum, played by Anna Maxwell Martin, who you'll definitely recognise from Motherland and Line of Duty.

Character: Becca

Becca is Andie's younger sister, played by Carla Woodcock from Free Rein on Netflix, Ackley Bridge and ITV2's Tell Me Everything.

Jackson Bews

Character: Dan

Dan is the police officer who is involve in Pip's case, who you might recognise from Black Mirror episode 'San Junipero', Maleficent and Doctors.

Henry Ashton

Character: Max

Max, who has a privileged background, is one of Sal's best friends, and is played by Henry Ashton from My Lady Jane on Prime Video and Outlander.

Character: Naomi

Yasmin plays Naomi, who is Cara's older sister who was very close with Sal. You might recognise her from Ackley Bridge.
