Carnival Row
Carnival Row is a place where mythical immigrant creatures and humans coexist—although not in harmony. The creatures are forbidden to live freely as they please. This already turbulent world gets even more shaken up by a string of murders. Human investigator Rycroft Philostrate (Orlando Bloom) is the only man willing to solve the case. But then Vignette Stonemoss (Cara Delevingne) shows up, forcing him to face his past and complicating matters even more.

This teen drama series is based on a cartoon series called Winx Club. It’s the coming-of-age stories of five fairies who attend Alfea, a magical boarding school in the Otherworld. There, they must learn how to control their powers while also dealing with archrivals, monsters, their friendships, and their love lives.

This original animated series is probably one of the biggest—if not the biggest—fairy franchise of all time. Bloom, an ordinary girl, comes to terms with the fact that she’s actually a fairy. She then enters the Alfea School for Fairies and meets four other girls who, while not new to discovering their unique gifts, are still trying to master and hone them. Together, they navigate love, life, evil threats trying to get in their way, and the mystery surrounding Bloom’s true identity.

4World of Winx
This spin-off to the original Winx Club follows Bloom, Stella, Tecna, Musa, Aisha, and Flora as they masquerade as reality TV talent-searching undercover agents to try to protect earthlings from a talent thief. The tricky part is they have to make sure no one—no cameras or people—see them use magic.

Nimue (Katherine Langford) is a young Fey woman scorned as a witch in her own village. She tries to escape, seeking a new life of freedom to be who she is. But when a ruthless army comes for her home and others like her, she makes it her mission to save her people.
6Fairly OddParents
This iconic show is absolute fairy canon. Timmy is just an average kid who feels misunderstood and miserable. That is, until one day, fairy godparents Wanda and Cosmo poof their way into his life, granting his every wish—so long as they’re in accordance with the Rules, of course. They end up on some pretty wild, sometimes dangerous adventures that people can only dream of.

7Lost Girl
Bo Dennis (Anna Silk) is a small-town girl on the run after a sexual encounter that went very wrong. While she tries to navigate this new life and identity, she decides to suppress her inhuman urges and to use her powers for good to help those she meets along the way.
8The Other Kingdom
Astral (played by singer Ezi) is a young fairy princess from the enchanted realm of Athenia, where mystical creatures and magical beings roam free. But she wants to leave home to try something else: high school. She enrolls as a freshman exchange student at Theseus High School and embarks on a journey of self-discovery, friendships, and romance. All the while, she has to keep her identity a secret. Think of this show as kind of like The Little Mermaid and Hannah Montana rolled into one.
9Once Upon a Time
Okay, so this isn’t exactly a show about fairies, but some episodes feature appearances from the Blue Fairy, Tinker Bell, Flora, Fauna, Merryweather, and Cinderella’s fairy godmother, so I think this has to belong on this list. In this show, Emma Swan (Jennifer Morrison) is dragged into a fairy-tale/real-world hybrid called Storybrooke in Maine after her son, Henry, whom she gave up for adoption, tells her that she is Snow White’s daughter.

10The Bureau of Magical Things
In a world where humans and magical creatures live in harmony, the balance is being upset as technology evolves and magic is being pushed back. Fairies and other magical creatures are becoming endangered, but Kyra (Kimmie Tsukakoshi) wants that to change. After she gets magical powers herself following an incident with a floating book, she makes it her mission to unite fairies, elves, and humans against a common danger coming for them all.
